La Liga giants Real Madrid have scheduled a friendly outing for the club’s first-team squad for Friday.
That’s according to Blancos insider Arancha Rodriguez, who has provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.
Real Madrid, to date, have announced only one planned friendly fixture ahead of the new campaign.
Behind on their pre-season preparations following the Club World Cup, Xabi Alonso’s troops have been pencilled in for a meeting with Austrian outfit WSG Tirol this coming Sunday.
As alluded to above, though, in the meantime, Real Madrid will also play out another fixture.
As per a report from the aforementioned Arancha Rodriguez of COPE:
‘Tomorrow, Real Madrid will have a training match against Leganés.’
The matchup is expected to be played out behind closed doors, organised by the board at the Santiago Bernabéu in an effort to aid new manager Alonso in his ongoing prep for the new La Liga campaign.
