Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez names the club’s ‘best player’ | OneFootball

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has revealed his take that Kylian Mbappé stands out above all others as the club’s very best player.

Frontman Mbappé has of course seen his name come back under the microscope in Spain’s capital over recent weeks.

This comes amid a fresh round of criticism being aimed in the direction of the France international.

Mbappé was first targeted for the timing of a vacation with his partner, fresh off Real Madrid being sent packing from the Champions League.

The sidelined attacker was then accused of not doing his utmost to return to fitness in time to play his part in last weekend’s El Clásico.

Despite such woes, and Los Blancos’ trophyless campaign, though, the fact remains that Mbappé has found the net 41 times in 41 appearances across all competitions this season.

And keen to highlight as much on Wednesday was the aforementioned Florentino Pérez.

Speaking during an interview with El Chiringuito TV, Real president Pérez went as far as to state that:

“Kylian Mbappé is our best player. He won the Golden Boot, so he does not lack goals. There are just things that we have to improve on.”
