A month into the new season, Real Madrid have enjoyed a picture-perfect start, with four wins in four matches and a recent victory over Marseille in the UEFA Champions League.
One of the key highlights for Los Blancos this season has been the performances of Kylian Mbappe, who has started the season with a bang.
In just five matches so far this season, the Frenchman has racked up six goals and an assist, making him the most productive player for Los Blancos so far this season.
With six goals already this season, sky seems to be the limit for Mbappe, especially given the way Xabi Alonso has built the team around him this season.
And keeping that in mind, Real Madrid top boss believes Mbappe is on track to score not just 40 or 50, but 60 goals this season.

This is according to Defensa Central, which suggests that the Real Madrid president is expecting the Frenchman to score at least 60 goals, having already settled in well at Santiago Bernabeu.
It must be noted that Mbappe won the Golden Boot and the Pichichi trophy in his first season at the club, racking up 43 goals in all competitions.
This time around, he has already netted six, which can go up to seven if we count the goal scored in the FIFA Club World Cup and eight if we count his goal for France, which saw him equal Thierry Henry’s record.
Therefore, everything suggests Mbappe is in for a defining campaign at Real Madrid, having already become ‘the star’ at the Bernabeu.
If he can continue his current scoring form, it won’t be surprising to see the French international rack up 60 goals by the end of the campaign.
