The Real Madrid election will soon conclude, with Florentino Perez widely expected to retain power.
Once Perez wins, he is expected to make some swift moves in the market, one of which will be to launch a €150 million bid for a top player, as promised by the Real Madrid president.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Perez is ready to launch the assault to try and sign the €150 million player and the player in question is none other than Michael Olise.
Romano adds that Real Madrid will test the waters at Bayern with a mega bid for the Frenchman, who appears to have emerged as the club’s big attacking target this summer.
Although Perez, during his speech, suggested that the player he was talking about was not Olise, it seems Real Madrid are more than interested in the Bayern superstar.

However, Romano notes that Bayern Munich remain unbothered by the situation and are not willing to fold easily.
The Bavarians have not even reacted to the noise around Olise’s future. They remain clear about the fact that the Frenchman is not up for sale, even if they receive an offer of €200 million.
But these are trying times for European clubs, especially from a financial perspective. Real Madrid, therefore, are curious about whether or not Bayern will fold if they receive such a lucrative offer for Olise.
Olise, for his part, has remained quiet about his future. But at the end of the day, he has to make a move, if he truly wants to join Real Madrid next season. The coming few days could be crucial.
