Real Madrid are moving fast in their post-Carlo Ancelotti era and, after signing Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth for €60M and putting their hands on Trent Alexander-Arnold on a Bosman move from Liverpool, they are accelerating the negotiation to bring back Nico Paz, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
Los Blancos can activate their €9M ‘recompra’ clause from July 1st, but they want him sooner. They wish to have him for the Club World Cup, which kicks off in mid-June.
Real Madrid will offer a little more than the fixed sum to convince Como to let go of Nico Paz early. They are very confident they’ll manage. The starlet has thrived in his first campaign away from Los Galacticos, quickly adapting to Serie A and tallying 6 goals and 9 assists in 34 Serie A appearances.
The Spanish giants are also on the brink of coming to terms with Benfica for another youth product, Alvaro Carreras, who’s likely to return in a €50M move.
According to Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta), the Lariani maintain some hope of keeping the Argentinian starlet, especially should Cesc Fabregas stay and repel Bayer Leverkusen’s courtship. The coach has signaled as much but hasn’t formally announced it, and Die Aspirin have kept trying. In the meantime, Como are ready to activate Yeremay Hernandez’s release clause.
The Biancoblù are in an impossible spot, plus, the player never hid his desire to go back eventually. He could use another year in a starring role to further grow. If the transfer indeed happens, the other teams keen on him will be on the lookout for the future to see whether he gets lost in the shuffle.
