The latest exploits put forth by Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler on Saturday night saw the 19-year-old etch his name into the history books.

As much came owing to his contributions in Turkey’s Euro 2024 quarter-final showdown with the Netherlands.

Vincenzo Montella’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, locking horns with the Dutch with the last of the four Euros semi-finals spots up for grabs.

When all was said and done, it was the latter who marched on, to book a meeting with England next Wednesday night.

This only came, however, after Güler had done his utmost to keep Turkey’s unlikely Euros dream alive.

Late in the first-half on Saturday, the midfield prodigy was responsible for creating the goal which put his country in front in Berlin.

After picking the ball up on the right, Güler bent a sumptuous right-footed delivery onto the head of Samet Akaydin, who made no mistake in nodding home from close range.

This marked the Real Madrid man’s 2nd assist of the tournament, and ensured that Güler entered his name into an altogether exclusive club.

As revealed by statisticians Squawka, the Turk is now just the fourth player, after Enzo Scifo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, to provide multiple assists at a single European Championship before turning 20:
