A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid will play no part in the club’s next outing.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Eduardo Camavinga as the player in question.

Midfielder Camavinga has for his part sparked widespread enthusiasm across the fanbase of Real Madrid early this week.

As much comes after the Frenchman – yet to take to the pitch this season owing to an ankle injury – was spotted back in group training at Valdebebas.

Hope, in turn, had begun to mount that Camavinga’s season debut could come this weekend, when Xabi Alonso’s troops make the trip to Anoeta to face Real Sociedad.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then this will not be the case.

As per a report from AS:

‘Madrid have completely ruled out the possibility of him being able to play this Saturday against Real Sociedad. Efforts are focused on seeing if he can at least make the squad for the next match, Madrid’s Champions League debut: Tuesday the 16th at the Santiago Bernabéu against Olympique de Marseille.’
