Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga was a notable absentee from group training at Valdebebas on Sunday morning.

And an explanation for the Frenchman’s absence has since come to the fore online.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action on Monday, when they play host to capital rivals Getafe in a La Liga clash.

Los Blancos head into the fixture with sights on a return to winning ways, after being put to the sword at the hands of Osasuna last weekend.

As alluded to above, though, on the eve of the matchup, Álvaro Arbeloa and co. have been dealt a potential blow.

As per a report from journalist Alvaro Esteban:

‘Camavinga is not training ahead of Real Madrid-Getafe. The Frenchman has had to go to the dentist due to a toothache.’

It now remains to be seen if Camavinga is given the green light to play his part against Getafe in 24 hours’ time.
