Real Madrid star to return to starting XI vs Villarreal | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is expected to return to the club’s starting line-up later this evening.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Eduardo Camavinga as the player in question.

Camavinga, for his part, was forced to make do with a spot on the bench from the off in midweek, as Real Madrid locked horns with city rivals Atlético in the latest edition of the Madrid Derby.

During the 2nd-half, though, with his side in desperate need of some control in the middle of the park, the Frenchman was introduced to the fray.

And Camavinga went on to provide precisely that, shining on both sides of the ball en route to a Blancos penalty shootout triumph.

So impressive did the 22-year-old look, in fact, that he looks set to be immediately rewarded this weekend.

As per a report from AS, Camavinga is expected to be restored to Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI on Saturday evening, when Real Madrid make the trip to Villarreal for a La Liga clash.
