Real Madrid star Franco Mastantuono was not part of the group dynamic in the club’s latest pre-season training session on Tuesday. This comes as the Argentine prepares for life away from Spain’s capital.

Youngster Mastantuono has of course been hotly tipped for a Real Madrid departure throughout the summer to date. Fresh off a difficult debut campaign in the colours of Los Blancos, the attacker is aware that consistent minutes would be tough to come by amid the ongoing squad rejuvenation at the Bernabéu with a view to next season.

Just 12 months removed from being widely considered one of the standout young talents in world football, Mastantuono has in turn been linked with a loan move to a whole host of clubs from across Europe.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Tuesday is anything to go by, then a transfer to one such suitor now appears to be all but confirmed.

As per a report from Real Madrid insider Arancha Rodriguez, Mastantuono trained inside the Valdebebas facilities this morning, away from the rest of José Mourinho’s squad.

This comes ahead of what is labelled as an ‘imminent’ loan move to Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
