Attacker Vinícius has of course found himself at the heart of the headlines across all of Europe once more this evening. After a fresh round of negotiations with Real Madrid regarding his expiring contract, the parties are understood to have moved a step closer to finding common ground.

All the while, Premier League champions Arsenal are waiting in the wings, ready to pounce in the case of a definitive accord being out of reach.

Amid this chatter, the 26-year-old has himself remained tight-lipped, refusing to comment publicly on his future. But as alluded to above, on Wednesday, Vinícius has nevertheless managed to turn heads the world over.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the Brazilian has ‘gone dark’, removing all of his posts, and turning his profile photo black.
