Real Madrid star will pick up a suspension if shown a yellow card vs Alavés | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to watch his step in the club’s next outing.

The player in question? Dani Ceballos.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action on Sunday evening, when they make the trip to Mendizorroza for a league meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

The aforementioned Ceballos has for his part been afforded a call-up for the clash, his first inclusion in a Blancos squad since all the way back in February.

As alluded to above, though, should the former Arsenal man be afforded minutes on the pitch tomorrow, he will need to walk the disciplinary tightrope.

This comes with Ceballos sitting on four yellow cards for the La Liga campaign.

In the case of the 28-year-old being booked against Alavés, he will therefore be facing up to a one-game suspension, to be served next weekend in Real Madrid’s fixture against Athletic Club.
