Brahim Diaz has enjoyed an impressive FIFA World Cup campaign with Morocco, but his strong performances on the international stage have not clarified his situation at Real Madrid ahead of next season.
According to SPORT, Jose Mourinho has not yet decided what role Brahim Diaz will have in his plans for the 2026/27 campaign, leaving the Moroccan international facing an uncertain summer at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Although the Real Madrid attacker remains one of Morocco’s standout performers at the World Cup, questions surrounding his long-term future at club level continue to persist.
Brahim Diaz has established himself as one of the leading figures within the Morocco national team during the World Cup, emerging as the side’s main creative outlet and carrying much of the attacking responsibility.
However, the biggest challenge for the Real Madrid playmaker will arrive once the tournament concludes and he returns to Valdebebas for pre-season preparations under Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager has yet to determine where Brahim fits into the current project, especially given the level of competition in the attacking department.
Considering the current state of affairs, the Moroccan international is expected to compete for minutes on the right side of the attack, where Arda Güler, Bernardo Silva and Endrick are also fighting for opportunities.
Despite the uncertainty, though, Brahim Diaz already knows what it means to fight for his place at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Over the past three seasons, the Real Madrid forward has consistently shown that he can make an impact whenever called upon, often delivering positive performances despite not being a regular starter.

While Mourinho continues to evaluate his squad, clubs across Europe are monitoring developments involving Brahim Diaz.
In that regard, Juventus are among the teams attentive to the player’s situation, although at this stage, no definitive decision has been made regarding the Real Madrid attacker’s future.
At this moment, nothing is decided, but his strong performances at the World Cup will certainly attract more suitors.
If that happens, Real Madrid could be tempted to sanction a summer exit considering that they are in urgent need to offload players in order to make new signings.
