The coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid will no doubt be interested to learn of the latest injury news stemming from Arne Slot’s Liverpool squad.
This comes after the Reds were dealt a blow, upon Trent Alexander-Arnold limping out of the club’s most recent outing.
En route to a 2-0 downing of Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, Alexander-Arnold went to ground suddenly, clutching his right thigh.
It quickly became clear that the full-back was in no condition to continue, hooked from proceedings for Conor Bradley as a result.
And, if the early chatter stemming from Merseyside is anything to go by, then Alexander-Arnold looks set for an incoming spell on the sidelines.
Arne Slot, for one, admitted post-match on Saturday that his star defender is altogether unlikely to feature for England over the international break.
The 26-year-old is therefore also considered a major doubt to face Real Madrid – a club with whom he is heavily linked for a transfer – in the Champions League on November 27th.
