La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Monday been credited with an interest in Manchester United star Diogo Dalot.
That’s according to Relevo, who point towards the Portuguese international as the latest name to have been added to Real’s right-back watchlist.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu are on the lookout for reinforcements on the right side of the club’s backline.
As much comes after first-choice Dani Carvajal was ruled out long-term with an ACL tear.
In the months since, a whole host of names from across the world of football have been linked with Los Blancos, from Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold to Pedro Porro of Tottenham Hotspur.
And, as alluded to above, on Monday, yet another option has been revealed in the media.
As per a report from Relevo:
‘The white team have shown interest in the right-back of Manchester United, the Portuguese Diogo Dalot.’
Florentino Pérez and co, in fact, went as far as to make contact with Dalot’s representatives, whilst Erik ten Hag was still in charge at Old Trafford.
The response, though, proved an unwavering one – Man United will not part with their star full-back for a fee of any less than €50 million.
