The white club is currently looking to finalize some departures, having already said goodbye to Dani Ceballos, Dani Carvajal and David Alaba.

In regards to his signing, SPORT cites the journalist Fabio Gatto to claim that Real Madrid would approach Inter Milan for the defender this week. The Merengues would ask the Italians about their intentions about the center-back and their starting price for him. They are looking to complete this operation as soon as possible.

The player himself wants a changes of scenery and has set his goal to play for the white team. This was clear from his recent rejection of a renewal proposal, which promised him wage increase, from the Nerazzurri. The Serie A champions are expected to value him at around €65 million.

Alessandro Bastoni is a highly attractive target for Real Madrid, especially as they are looking for a left-footed center-back to complement their current right-footed center-backs. However, to land him, they would have to make sufficient space in their backline, where the Merengues have already 11 players, and they are working on the departures of a center-back and a left-back, with Fran Garcia and Raul Asencio being the prime options for an exit this summer.
