The Spanish club also had to publish an official statement denying any contact with the Frenchman recently, in which they also highlighted their historical good relations with the Bavarians.

In that same statement, Real Madrid also made it clear that before undertaking any contact with any of their players, they would first talk to Bayern. And in this context, the coming expected visit of the Bayern Munich president, Herbert Hainer, to the Santiago Bernabeu is going to generate quite a lot of excitement and expectations.

As SPORT has reported, the German official is going to be one of the special guests at the graduation ceremony of Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea, which is scheduled to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu this Tuesday. Other notable personalities who have had this honour in recent years include Gianni Infantino and Adriano Galliani, the former long-time CEO of AC Milan.

Naturally, this event would also provide a platform for the top officials of the two clubs to sit down and talk, and it remains to be seen whether Michael Olise’s name would come up in their discussions, especially as he has requested a meeting with the Bundesliga club to clarify his future.
