After a slight dip in form, Real Madrid are looking to be in excellent touch right now, with confidence in the camp high after the recent demolition of Manchester City.
Alvaro Arbeloa is starting to gain some support from the club bosses, and to make things even better, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham are back into the fray after struggling with injuries.
Their return, though, will force Arbeloa to make some changes to the Real Madrid starting eleven in the coming weeks.
According to Defensa Central, the primary casualty of Mbappe’s return is set to be Brahim Diaz.
Despite his stellar contributions in the absence of Rodrygo and his pivotal role up top alongside Vinicius Jr. the Champions League tie against Man City, Brahim is the main one sentenced to return to the bench with Mbappe now fully fit.

Arbeloa recently expressed his delight at seeing the Frenchman back on the pitch during the final minutes of the City clash, hinting that the superstar’s inclusion in the starting XI for the upcoming derby against Atletico Madrid is a strong possibility.
Meanwhile, in midfield, Jude Bellingham nears a full return to the squad. This leaves Arbeloa with the difficult task of choosing between two of the season’s biggest breakout stars to make way: Thiago Pitarch and Arda Guler.
The academy graduate, Pitarch, whose value has skyrocketed, has been a revelation with his composure and build-up play, while Güler has provided the verticality.
One of these young talents will likely have to take a step back to accommodate the Englishman’s return to the starting axis.
These are Arbeloa’s only options as both Fede Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni remain completely untouchable due to their current world-class form.
