Rumors of a possible transfer of Michael Olise to Real Madrid continue to circulate. Now, however, there appears to be a clear message coming from those close to the Bayern star.
Michael Olise has long been one of the most important players on FC Bayern’s roster. Following his outstanding season and a strong World Cup performance with France, the 24-year-old is considered an absolutely key player for the future of the record champions. Interest from other top clubs is correspondingly high—most notably from Real Madrid.
As Sky now reports, however, Bayern has received a clear message from Olise and his inner circle: The French international has no plans to leave and wants to continue wearing the Bayern Munich jersey next season. The message from Olise was relayed to Bayern via his agent: “I’m staying!”
As things stand, no desire to transfer has been signaled to Bayern’s management at any point.
Internally, too, the record champions’ position is clear. According to information from Sky, Olise is considered unsellable this summer. Instead, Bayern wants to tie the attacking star to the club for the long term and continues to plan to begin talks on a contract extension in the near future.
Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg emphasized, however, that the situation could change in the long term: “Of course, things will look different in the summer of 2027. That will be a completely different matter. But as far as this summer is concerned, I think it’s unlikely at this point that he’ll leave Bayern.”

At the same time, Plettenberg clarified that this information represents only the “current reality”: “Anything can happen. We’ve seen some crazy things on Deadline Day. I don’t know what would happen at Bayern if a 200- or 250-million-euro offer actually came in. That’s never happened before. Then we’d have to reevaluate the situation.”
However, Munich is currently a long way from such a scenario. As things stand, Bayern sees no cause for concern. Olise is under contract through 2029 with no buyout clause. The club wants to make the Frenchman the face of the team for the long term—and the player currently seems willing to go along with that plan.
