The Brazilian was sent off for the first time in his LaLiga career for a push on Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievsk during Madrid’s 2-1 win on Friday night.

The severity of his ban is yet to be decided, with the Spanish Soccer Federation’s Competition Committee set to meet on Tuesday to determine how long the forward will be ruled out.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side made a raft of change for their 5-0 win over Deportivo Minera in the Copa del Rey on Monday night – with Vinicius starting on the bench.

Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham were among those rested from the start, with Antonio Rudiger and Thibaut Courtois not having travelled.
