Real Sociedad star has still not arrived back from international duty ahead of Real Madrid clash | OneFootball

A leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad is yet to arrive back in Spain following his endeavours during the international break.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Jon Aramburu as the player in question.

Right-back Aramburu was for his part called up by Venezuela for the country’s latest round of World Cup qualifiers this month.

And the 23-year-old went on to play the full 90 minutes in a pair of defeats, at the hands of Argentina, and Colombia.

In a concerning development for Real Sociedad, though, Aramburu has yet to depart his home country.

As per a report from MD:

‘Aramburu’s return is proving complicated, as his flight schedule has delayed his return to the capital of Gipuzkoa. Despite having played with Venezuela in the early hours of Tuesday to Wednesday, the defender has not yet been able to arrive.’

La Real’s first-choice right-back, in turn, is considered a doubt to feature in the club’s post-international break return to action against Real Madrid on Saturday.
