Inter Milan completed the signing of Yanis Massolin from Modena in the final hours of the January transfer window.
According to Gazzetta di Modena via FCInterNews, that deal marked the Canaries’ record sale.
Despite vying for several high-profile targets, including Ivan Perisic and Moussa Diaby, Inter had to settle for a couple of low-profile signings.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri signed Leon Jakirovic from Dinamo Zagreb, immediately sending him to the U23 side.
Then, they acquired Massolin on deadline day.

Inter had to fork out around €4.5 million to lure Massolin to San Siro in the transfer window finale.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old midfielder has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Lombard club.
Meanwhile, Inter have decided to let the Frenchman stay at Modena on loan until the end of the season.
As for Modena, this piece of business marked the biggest sale in the club’s history.
Indeed, it surpassed their previous record sale, set in 2006 when Cristian Bucchi joined Empoli for €4 million.
