Reece James has come through an international break unscathed and injury free, which is absolutely the most important thing here.
Chelsea can certainly do without any more injuries right now after news came in yesterday that new midfielder Dario Essugo had undergone surgery on a fresh injury he had picked up on this international break.
We all know that striker Liam Delap is also on the long-term injury list for Chelsea right now as well. Although former England striker Emile Heskey believes Joao Pedro can lead the line for Chelsea and not only that, he can emulate Didier Drogba and Diego Costa at the club!
But for Chelsea getting James back without any injuries is a huge bonus taking into account his on and off injury record so far in his career. If he stays fit, there is no doubt he can become one of the best right backs to ever play the game.
England thrashed Serbia 5-0 in their World Cup qualifying match last night, with goals coming from Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi, and a Marcus Rashford penalty late on.

James, who is finally finding some consistent and regular game time, has been on great form so far for Chelsea over the summer and this season.
And that form has seemingly continued into this international break.
According to CFCPys on X, these are the stats from James’ international break:
– 137 minutes played – 1 assist – 6/9 long balls – 6/10 duels won – 4 tackles – Dribbled past 0 times
