According to Sitiboca.com.ar, the AFA has confirmed the appointments for the opening round, with Sebastián Zunino to take charge of Boca Juniors’ Torneo Apertura 2026 debut against Deportivo Riestra.

The Zone A fixture is scheduled for Sunday 25 January at 18.30 at La Bombonera.

Juan Pablo Belatti and Erik Grunmann are the assistant referees, and Juan Cruz Robledo is the fourth official.

VAR will be led by Ariel Penel, with Javier Delbarba serving as AVAR.
