Mexico City.- Chivas gave us a very special night at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario. Despite being behind on the scoreline, they never stopped fighting and stuck to Gabriel Milito's game plan, which paid off big time as they came from behind to beat Pumas 2-1 in the dying moments of the match on matchday 12 of the Apertura 2025.The first half showed us a very superior Guadalajara, as they took advantage of their ball movement and managed to settle in the opponents' half. The Rojiblancos generated several dangerous chances that demanded the utmost from the Pumas goalkeeper, notably the shots from the edge of the box by Santiago Sandoval and Diego Campillo. The second half was not easy for Milito's team, as they unexpectedly found themselves behind on the scoreline and had to fight back from there. However, the Rebaño's drive and clarity paid off very quickly, as 'Hormiga' struck the equalizer and radically changed the course of the game.Just when it looked like the points would be shared at the Olímpico Universitario, Guadalajara once again showed their character and good football, as in one of the last plays of the game, substitute Daniel Aguirre appeared to send the Rojiblanca Capital into raptures by finding the net and giving the Rebaño Sagrado their third consecutive victory. After this victory, Chivas remains in ninth place with 17 points, just three points away from the direct qualification zone. The Goals1-0: Pumas took the lead in the 48th minute through Pedro Vite, who took advantage of a loose ball in the area and fired a left-footed shot that put the Universitarios ahead.1-1: A few minutes later, Guadalajara responded with a great team move, which was capped off with a tremendous pass from Efraín Álvarez to Armando González, who leveled the score with a header in the 55th minute.1-2: Chivas showed character and a fighting spirit, which earned them the win in the dying moments. It was Daniel Aguirre, who had only been on the field for a few minutes, who aggressively attacked the area to seal the victory in the 89th minute.Pumas 1-2 Chivas(Pedro Vite in the 48th minute)(Armando González in the 55th minute and Daniel Aguirre in the 89th minute)Referee: Daniel QuinteroEstadio Olímpico UniversitarioLineupsPumas: Keylor Navas, Pablo Bennevendo, Nathan, Ángel Azuaje, Alvaro Angulo, José Caicedo, Alan Medina, Jorge Ruvalcaba, Adalberto Carrasquilla, Pedro Vite, José Juan Macías.Coach: Luis PérezChivas: Raúl Rangel, Richard Ledezma (Daniel Aguirre in the 80th minute), Diego Campillo, Luis Romo, José Castillo (Cade Cowell in the 80th minute), Bryan González, Rubén González (Gilberto Sepúlveda in the 86th minute), Omar Govea (Yellow Card in the 31st minute), Efraín Álvarez (Miguel Gómez in the 80th minute), Santiago Sandoval (Miguel Tapias in the 65th minute), Armando González.Coach: Gabriel Milito
