Rémy Cabella set to join Nantes on loan after limited Olympiakos minutes

Rémy Cabella is poised to join Nantes on loan after limited minutes at Olympiakos. According to L'Équipe, the 35-year-old international attacking midfielder is nearing a return to Ligue 1.

Agreements are in place between Nantes, Olympiakos and the player for a six-month deal running to the end of the season.

Barring an unlikely twist, he is expected to be there when Nantes resume after the holidays to prepare for the trip to Marseille on four January, matchday 17.

Nantes are 17th in Ligue 1 and have already added Deiver Machado, formerly of Lens, as a joker signing, while looking to strengthen across the pitch.

Cabella joined Olympiakos on a two-year deal last summer after three good seasons at Lille, but has featured only seven times so far in Greece.
