Esteban Lepaul started last time out against Olympique Lyonnais, however, it was Meité’s impact off the bench that turned the game in Rennes’ favour late on. He could be rewarded for his cameo with a place alongside Breel Embolo in the attack.

Meanwhile, Przemyslaw Frankowski misses out on this encounter. Rennes could opt for an attack-minded replacement in the form of Moussa Al-Tamari. Valentin Rongier and Quentin Merlin, both signed from Olympique de Marseille earlier in the summer, are set to start against their former club.
