After Atletico’s pursuit of AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez hit a brick wall, Los Colchoneros have turned their attention elsewhere.

With the Frenchman set to join Simone Inzaghi at Al-Hilal, Simeone has shifted his focus to alternative targets.

Therefore, Carlos Augusto is the next name on the Argentine’s shortlist.
