Chelsea are amongst some of Europe’s biggest clubs who are interested in Atalanta youngster Marco Palestra according to reports.
The Blues once again heavily invested in the summer and totally revamped their front line, making five attacking signings.
However, with January fast approaching the Blues have been linked with a number of players, although it’s been reported they are unlikely to be busy this winter.
Barring any injuries or unexpected opportunities Chelsea reportedly won’t strengthen the squad in January, although they could look to sign some more youngsters.
As has been a common theme under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake capital ownership, Chelsea have targeted the best young talent from around the world.

The Blues have already agreed a deal for 16-year-old centre back Deinner Ordonez, whilst they’ve been linked with 18-year-old Lille star Ayyoub Bouaddi.
However, it seems another youngster has appeared on their radar, and Caught Offside have reported Chelsea are amongst the clubs interested in Atalanta’s Palestra.
The report adds as well as Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and PSG have sent scouts to track Palestra’s development on a weekly basis.
Caught Offside state his valuation is believed to be €35-40m, with the 20-year-old right back currently impressing on loan at Cagliari.
Whether Chelsea do anything in January remains to be seen, but the Blues are gearing up to strengthen the squad next summer.

It’s been reported Chelsea could sign a centre back, but they are targeting a midfielder to ease the burden on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
Whether that’s to add to their existing depth or to replace one of the current crop is unclear, but if they do look to move someone on, Romeo Lavia could be a prime candidate given his injury struggles.
