Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs closely monitoring Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams according to reports.
The Blues were once again active over the summer, and totally revamped their frontline with five new attacking signings.
The January window is now fast approaching, although it’s believed Chelsea won’t be very active next month unless injuries or an unexpected opportunity occur.
Despite it being reported Chelsea are unlikely to be busy, that hasn’t stopped the club being linked with a number of players, especially in midfield.
Chelsea have been linked with Kees Smit, Sunderland’s Noah Sadiki and Man United star Kobbie Mainoo, although how likely any of those are to join remains unclear.

However, it appears another midfielder is on their radar, and Caught Offside have reported Chelsea are among the clubs closely monitoring Adams.
The report adds Tottenham and Manchester United are also keeping a close eye, whilst Bournemouth are said to want €30-40m for the 28-year-old.
Chelsea almost signed Adams in the summer of 2023, but the move fell through, with the American now at Bournemouth where he’s made 52 appearances, scoring two goals and registering four assists.
Adams has scored twice in 16 appearances this season, and has put in some impressive performances, and it will be interesting to see if anyone moves for him in January.
Whether a midfielder arrives in January remains to be seen, but the chances of one being signed in the summer appear high.

It’s been reported Chelsea are targeting a midfield signing next summer to ease the workload on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
It’s unclear if that would be on top of their additional options or if the Blues are planning to make a sale in that department, with Romeo Lavia perhaps the most likely option given his injury struggles if that were to be the case.
