Chelsea are among the clubs interested in Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo as he continues to assess his future according to reports.
The Blues have previously been linked with Mainoo, although they are currently well stocked with their options in midfield.
Chelsea are blessed with the likes of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, whilst they also have Romeo Lavia and Andrey Santos.
However, Chelsea are always planning for the future, and with Lavia likely set for another spell on the sidelines they could be forced to move for another midfielder.
Chelsea are known to admire Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton, whilst Caught Offside have reported they are among the clubs interested in Mainoo.

The report adds Chelsea are long term admirers of Mainoo, whilst Tottenham, Manchester City, Leeds United, Everton and Newcastle are the other Premier League clubs interested.
Mainoo has struggled for game time under Ruben Amorim and wanted to leave the club in the summer, but with his game time situation not improving he could be well be on the move in January.
The England international is likely to miss out on the World Cup squad next summer and has played just 138 minutes of Premier League football this season.
Chelsea were handed a blow on Wednesday night against Qarabag with Lavia lasting just five minutes as he picked up another injury.

Maresca stated after the game he thought it was a quad injury, but speaking before Saturday’s game with Wolves he admitted Lavia was in pain, but the full extent of the injury wasn’t known.
Lavia certainly won’t feature against Wolves, and he’s been plagued by injury since joining the club in 2023, and has made just 30 appearances for the Blues, and hasn’t completed a full 90 once.
