Report: Frank Lampard plots raid on Chelsea with Coventry interested in €25m rated ace | OneFootball

Marc Guiu is attracting interest from newly promoted Coventry City, whilst clubs in La Liga are also interested according to reports.

The Blues signed Guiu from Barcelona in the summer of 2024 after activating his €6m release clause, but he’s found things difficult at Stamford Bridge.

Guiu scored six goals in 16 appearances last season, all of which came in the Conference League, whilst he’s scored three goals in 16 appearances this season.

A lack of game time saw Guiu loaned to Sunderland last summer, but an injury to Liam Delap saw him recalled before the end of the window.

Before coming off the bench in last month’s defeat to Brighton, Guiu hadn’t featured in the league since December.

He wasn’t in the squad for the FA Cup semi final against Leeds, and has only featured in two of Chelsea’s last 21 games.

Guiu is said to want a loan move back to Spain next season, and Caught Offside via Sports Boom have reported Coventry are among the clubs tracking the 20-year-old.

The report adds a number of sides in La Liga are also monitoring the situation, and Chelsea are ready to listen to offers of €20-€25m.
