Inter Milan could reportedly cut ties with U23 head coach Stefano Vecchi at the end of the current campaign.
According to FCInter1908, Vecchi’s stay at San Siro is far from a foregone conclusion despite his decent results this term.
Stefano Vecchi took charge of the U23 side last summer, becoming the first-ever manager to coach this team in Serie C.
However, the 54-year-old’s adventure in Milan may not last long, as he could depart in the summer.
Meanwhile, the club would then have to decide how to proceed.
Vecchi has achieved impressive results in his first season in charge of the U23 side.
Indeed, Inter are currently eighth in the standings in Group A and are on the verge of securing a place in the playoffs.
With only seven games left until the end of the regular season, they’re in a perfect position to secure a playoff berth.
Unfortunately, it could be Vecchi’s final campaign at the helm, as the San Siro giants weigh up new options for the U23 managerial role ahead of next season.
