Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan have reportedly identified Lens starlet Robin Risser as a potential target for the summer.
According to FCInter1908, the 21-year-old has emerged as a potential candidate to replace the outgoing Yann Sommer.
Inter will part with the veteran goalkeeper at the end of the season.
Indeed, they’ve already decided not to renew the 37-year-old’s expiring contract.
With Sommer set to leave San Siro, the Nerazzurri are on the hunt for a new starting goalkeeper.
Furthermore, they’ve already earmarked Guglielmo Vicario as their top target.
However, Tottenham Hotspur won’t let the former Empoli man leave North London for less than €30 million.
In addition to Vicario, Inter are also keeping close tabs on several other keepers, including Atalanta’s Matteo Carnesecchi.
Moreover, they had also considered Liverpool superstar Alisson Becker as a potential option.
However, the Brazilian ace has recently renewed his contract with the Reds until 2027.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri have expanded their search, with Risser now emerging as another target for the Serie A giants.
At 21, Risser has ample room for improvement, but he is already Lens’ first choice between the sticks.
