Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries hasn’t asked to be sold this summer despite having a €25 million release clause in his contract.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908.
Inter Milan are considering the possibility that they could lose Denzel Dumfries this summer.
The Nerazzurri will not lose the Dutchman for free. He signed a contract extension last year.
However, that new deal includes a release clause of €25 million.
Moreover, Inter are aware that Dumfries is not altogether happy with the harsh words from Inter captain Lautaro Martinez last week.
Then, there is the fact that Dumfries has changed his agent to Jorge Mendes. That could very well be a signal of intent to leave the club this summer.

Inter Milan are waiting to see if any clubs move in for Dumfries.
The fact that the 29-year-old’s release clause expires on the 15th of this month means that if anything is top happen, it has to happen soon.
Rumours indicate that Premier League giants Manchester City are keen on Dumfries. Then, Barcelona are also linked with the former PSV wingback.
As of yet, though, no offers have arrived at Inter’s doorstep.
Then, significantly, Sky report that the player himself has not requested a departure.
Dumfries remains happy at Inter. Even in spite of some ill feelings regarding club captain Martinez’s comments last week.
Therefore, the Dutchman will not push for an exit.
As such, Inter will not wait to see whether any clubs do decide to take advantage of Dumfries’s release clause over the next week.
