Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly decided against re-signing Bologna talent Giovanni Fabbian.
Per Stadio via FCInterNews, they’ve opted not to trigger the buyback clause inserted in the deal struck in 2023.
Inter sold Giovanni Fabbian to Bologna two years ago.
Furthermore, they shrewdly included a €12 million buyback clause in the agreement.
However, little did anyone know the Nerazzurri would decide not to take it two years later.

Bologna spent a meager €5m to sign the 22-year-old.
Therefore, sporting director Giovanni Sartori completed a masterclass deal, signing the highly-rated youngster on favorable terms.
Despite Fabbian’s rise to prominence at Renato Dall’Ara, he won’t return to the San Siro.
As a result, Vincenzo Italiano doesn’t need to intervene in the market for reinforcements.
Inter’s decision perhaps stems from their trust in Petar Sucic.
Indeed, the Croatian talent completed his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb earlier in June.
Moreover, he is already in the United States with the rest of the team fighting for FIFA Club World Cup glory.
