Inter Milan have set their sights on Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

With Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa gone as their contracts expire, and the future of Mehdi Taremi uncertain, Inter must bolster the attacking depth.

And the priority for the Nerazzurri in this sense is clear. They want to bring in a younger striker with room for growth rather than another veteran.

Therefore, at 22 years of age, Rasmus Hojlund is certainly in the age bracket Inter are seeking.

And despite the Dane’s underwhelming form at Old Trrafford, his performances for Atalanta from the 2022-23 season have still convinced Inter that the quality is there with him.

According to UK outlet The Telegraph, Inter Milan have already approached United about signing Hojlund.

The Telegraph report that United told Inter that they would expect a fee of €45-50 million for the former Atalanta striker.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph report, Inter are hopeful of signing Hojlund on loan. This would be with either an option or obligation to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent basis.

On the other hand, Man United want to sell the player outright this summer.
