Arsenal have rediscovered their best form at the perfect time.
After thrashing Nottingham Forest and Sporting Lisbon, the Gunners condemned West Ham United to a 5-2 defeat in their latest Premier League match on Saturday.
Arsenal produced a rampant attacking display in East London, with Gabriel Magalhaes, Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka all on target for the visitors.
Mikel Arteta’s side look to have a balanced squad and they will be hoping to retain their players in the January transfer window.
However, they could lose one of their defenders next month amid interest from Italy.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli are considering a move for Jakub Kiwior to bolster their defensive ranks.
The 24-year-old joined the Premier League giants from Spezia in January 2023. He was an important member of the first-team under Mikel Arteta last season, featuring in 30 games across all competitions.
However, the Poland international has been pushed to the fringes of the squad this campaign due to Riccardo Calafiori’s arrival and Jurrien Timber’s return to fitness.
Both players have been impressive for the Gunners this season, with their defense currently one of the best in the world.
Kiwior, who can operate as a left-back as well as a centre-back, is still young and highly talented, but his first-team prospects at the Emirates Stadium don’t look great.
He is contracted with Arsenal until 2028 but could push for a January move for regular minutes at another club.
Arsenal could sanction a loan move for him, as they already have many options in defence.
