As quoted by Calciomercato, Camano said: “Lautaro plays for Inter, in the team that finished runners up in the Champions League. He is the captain of Inter, he is happy at Inter. There are certain questions that don’t even have an answer.”

It is understood that Lautaro has no intention of leaving Inter, where he is the club captain and has been the team’s leading goalscorer across all competitions for the last four consecutive seasons.

The 28-year-old is one of three Serie A representatives on the final shortlist for the 2025 Ballon d’Or, along with Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay and Nerazzurri teammate Denzel Dumfries.
