Report Roma like Ezzalzouli, but Real Betis €60m price off-putting | OneFootball

Abde Ezzalzouli is on the Roma list, after the Morocco international impressed for Real Betis, but the €60m asking price is a big problem.

Il Tempo reporter Filippo Biafora had reported last week that approaches had been made for Ezzalzouli, seen as an alternative to RB Leipzig man Antonio Nusa.

Now Fabrizio Romano’s colleague Matteo Moretto also suggests that the 24-year-old has been put on the Giallorossi radar.

However, if the €60m asking price is confirmed, then that will put him out of the running for a move to the Stadio Olimpico.

Able to play on the left or right wing, his versatility has already attracted interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle United this summer.

He scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in 43 competitive games for Real Betis last season.

Ezzalzouli would’ve been starring for Morocco at the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico too, but he was forced to abandon the squad at the last minute after sustaining a knee injury in the friendly against Norway.

The player had also been linked with Roma and Como last summer.
