Inter Milan scouted striker Santiago Castro and midfielder Samuele Ricci during a recent Serie A match between Torino and Bologna.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri see both of the pair as potential future targets.
Last weekend, Torino hosted Bologna in Serie A.
The Rossoblu ran out 2-0 winners, with goals courtesy of Thijs Dallinga and Tommaso Pobega.
And according to FCIN, Inter had a scout on hand to watch the action.
The outlet report that there were two players in particular who the Nerazzurri wanted a closer look at.
FCIN report that Inter were watching one player each from Bologna and Torino.
From the Rossoblu, Inter were scouting striker Santiago Castro.
The Argentine is a player who the Nerazzurri see as an ideal profile to potentially revitalize their attack in the next couple years.
Meanwhile, from the Granata, Inter were scouting midfielder Samuele Ricci.
Inter see Ricci as having the necessary quality to potentially reinforce their midfield.
However, the Nerazzurri would only move for Ricci on one condition. That would be if Hakan Calhanoglu leaves the club.
Inter would see Ricci as an out-and-out replacement for Calhanoglu rather than as a backup for the Turkish international.
