Olympique Marseille have yet to decide whether to trigger a purchase option in their loan agreement for Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard.
According to FCInterNews, the French giants are ‘happy’ with the 29-year-old’s performances this season.
Benjamin Pavard left San Siro after only two years to join Marseille on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Despite signing him from Bayern Munich for €32 million in 2023, Inter are ready to sell him next summer for as low as €15 million.
At least that’s the figure Marseille will have to pay to make his transfer to the Stade Velodrome permanent.

Despite his injury-plagued 2024/25 season, Pavard has featured regularly for Roberto De Zerbi’s team this term.
Indeed, the French center-back has collected 23 appearances in all competitions, including 14 in Ligue 1.
Moreover, he has scored once and added three assists.
Therefore, there’s no reason for Marseille not to activate the buyout clause at the end of the season.
