MIAMI – Ahead of the start of the Semifinals in the 2026 Concacaf Champion Cup, which features two matchups between Liga MX and MLS clubs, we look back at the past series between clubs from both leagues in in the decisive stage of the tournament.
Liga MX vs. MLS in Semifinals
In all, 18 series in the Semifinals have featured Liga MX vs. MLS matchups in the history of the Concacaf Champion Cup. Liga MX sides emerged victorious on 14 occasions, while MLS teams have advanced four times.

Only four Liga MX clubs went on to lift the cup after knocking out MLS opposition in the Semifinals. CF Pachuca achieved the feat three times, CF Monterrey two times, and Necaxa and CD Guadalajara once each.
