These are intense times on the transfer market for Roma, with Frederic Massara working on Roma’s new midfield signing.
The primary objective is to bring Richard Rios, Gian Piero Gasperini’s favorite midfielder, to Trigoria.

Zenit St. Petersburg also submitted an official offer today for Richard Rios worth €30 million.
The player, however, rejected the offer, clearly expressing his preference for Roma.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi’s offer is €24 million plus bonuses, with the Brazilian club, however, seeking €30 million.
Benfica are also interested.
