Tottenham Hotspur will entertain Nottingham Forest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs managed to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid recently, which should give them some confidence going into this game.

Igor Tudor will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this clash. Richarlison could get the nod to lead the line for the North London club up top.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will function in goal for Tottenham after he conceded two goals in his last outing. Cristian Romero will operate alongside Micky van de Ven at the heart of Tudor’s defence as they hope to keep the opposition attackers frustrated during the game.

Pedro Porro will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Djed Spence looks to put in a solid performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Kevin Danso will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Pape Matar Sarr and Archie Gray will anchor the midfield for Spurs as they try to make life tough for the visitors in the middle of the park.

The talented trio of Mathys Tel, Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani will play just ahead of them as part of Tudor’s attack. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if Spurs are to secure maximum points against Nottingham this weekend.

Lucas Bergvall and Conor Gallagher will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Richarlison will lead the charge for the North London club up top. He has to figure out a way to cause a few problems for the opposition centre-backs during the 90 minutes.

Dominic Solanke will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if required.
