Riera rules out Koch as Frankfurt face Bayern with limited attacking options | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt will travel to Bayern Munich without captain Robin Koch, with injuries leaving Albert Riera short of attacking options.

According to BuLi News, Riera said Koch is ill with a fever and will not travel. Arthur Theate and Rasmus Kristensen are injured, and Ansgar Knauff is also unavailable.

Arnaud Kalimuendo and Jonathan Burkardt are struggling to be ready. Burkardt is fully fit but lacks recent competitive matches, while Kalimuendo is available if needed but not yet at 100 percent, so minutes will be managed.

Even so, the Spaniard said he feels positive and noted that the favourite does not always win.

With Koch out, full-back Nathaniel Brown will captain Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena, with kick-off at 15:30 CET tomorrow.
