Arsenal are Premier League champions for the 2025-26 season following Bournemouth’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City last night.
The Gunners last won the title in 2004, and manager Mikel Arteta will be delighted to bring the trophy back to the Emirates Stadium club after 22 years.
Arsenal were on top of the Premier League table for most of the campaign, and they finally got it over the line after three seasons of finishing as second.
Rio Ferdinand took to social media platform X to react shortly after the North Londoners won the title on Tuesday night, calling out Patrice Evra.
Evra has regularly mocked Arsenal for failing to win the Premier League despite coming close in recent seasons.
He has yet to congratulate the Gunners for finally getting the job done and it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will show enough class to do so.
Arsenal missed out on the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this term but could end up with a double as they eye Champions League triumph.
They play Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on May 30 and will pull out all the stops to ensure they return to North London with the trophy.
The Gunners have never won the elite European competition and this crop of players will make history if they beat PSG.
Arteta and his men will fancy their chances against the Ligue 1 champions, who could be without Ousmane Dembele following a knock against Paris FC at the weekend.
PSG are defending champions after beating Inter Milan in the final last year, but Arsenal head into the game with a massive morale boost after pipping Man City to the league title.
They are already looking forward to next season as Arteta plans to make them regular league winners.
Bolstering their squad with quality additions this summer could boost their chances of winning the quadruple next term and going forward.
