Boca Juniors president Juan Román Riquelme has submitted an offer to secure the club’s first signing for 2026. According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the pursuit does not involve Paulo Dybala or Miguel Borja.

Riquelme is working on a deal for Marino Hinestroza, the 23-year-old Colombian forward at Atlético Nacional of Medellín.

Boca are optimistic of closing the transfer quickly for a fee below six million dollars, a figure lower than the Colombian club’s price in the previous window.

Marcelo Delgado, who liaises between Boca’s board and squad, said Hinestroza is on their list because he is an interesting, quick and skilful player.

Hinestroza mainly operates on the right wing, though he can also play on the left. Strengthening the forward line is a priority for next year, when Boca will compete in the Torneo Apertura, the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Argentina.
