Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado has become a target for Atletico Madrid, claims a report from SPORT.
It is to be noted that despite the growing interest from their La Liga rivals, Casado has made it clear he does not want to leave.
The young talent remains fully committed to Barça and dreams of making it big with the first team.
Casado understands that earning regular minutes will be a huge challenge, especially with competition in midfield heating up.
Still, he is not ready to give up. He has worked hard to earn his place and wants to fight for every opportunity.
Even though there is been talk and tension behind the scenes, the player and his team believe that none of it directly involves him.

At the start of the 2024/25 season, Casado had the full backing of coach Hansi Flick. Injuries to key players allowed him to break into the starting XI, and he impressed with solid performances.
His rise even earned him a call-up to the Spanish national team. But things changed when Frenkie de Jong returned.
Flick gave the Dutch midfielder the starting role in front of the defence, and his strong performances made him undroppable. Casado, as a result, slipped down the pecking order.
Now, Flick is also keen to promote Marc Bernal, who was ahead of Casado last season before suffering a serious knee injury.
The coaching staff believe in Bernal’s potential and are preparing to give him a bigger role once he returns, something that could further reduce Casado’s chances.
Barcelona are watching the market and will only consider a sale if a strong offer arrives. Casado is valued at €30 million, and clubs like Atletico Madrid are seriously thinking about making a move.
While the midfielder wants to stay and fight, a big sale could help Barça financially, and the club is not hiding that reality.
