FC Barcelona take on Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of the 2025/26 season on the weekend of 26 October at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Leading up to the game in over a month, it has already been confirmed that the Spanish capital giants will be without key defender Antonio Rudiger, who is out for three months due to an injury.
Now, it appears that Real Madrid will have to make do without another important player for the Clasico next month.
Indeed, Real Madrid confirmed today that summer signing Trent Alexander-Arnold has suffered a hamstring injury in his left thigh.
Building on that, Mundo Deportivo suggests that the England international is expected to be out for a period of six to eight weeks.

As such, Trent is now very much likely to miss the first El Clasico of the season set to be played in a little over a month.
The 26-year-old right-back sustained the injury just a couple of minutes into Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League opener against Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday night and had to be taken off right away.
Trent arrived as a marquee signing for Real Madrid this summer, joining from Liverpool in June, ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
It has not been a smooth start for the Englishman in Spain and the injury puts his Clasico debut in October under a cloud of uncertainty.
